Only 20 or so miles south of Georgia, we had experienced about 500 cases, our uptick slow, steady, and manageable.

The Barn Swallow at right was rescued by Rebecca Dmytryk of Wildlife Emergency Services in Moss Landing, California, and transferred to Native Songbird Care and Conservation in Sebastopol.
