In a quick review, you learn frigatebirds eat fish. The frigatebird we had in care in 2004 never ate the fish that we offered on her own. We “assist-fed” her – placing fish in her mouth and waiting to make sure she swallowed them – every meal. But for a weak, starving juvenile, there is the magic of fish to help.

Seems odd, although officials with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality said that fish they've tested have not been killed by oil, but a lack of oxygen in the water. But why did 60 dead endangered turtles wash up over three weeks? And what about the dead dolphin?

Maybe it was a version of the Mississippi River, maybe it was a version of the Warren River, likely both. Every now and the the loosing Loon would disappear like it had been killed and sunk. The tend to stay asea, bobbing and rolling in the surf, staying away form shore and presumably eating small fish. So, no Eagles maybe.
