The Journal of the Bombay Natural History Society is not particularly sensitive to the feelings of kingfishers, calling them a “stockily built birds” The Black-capped Kingfisher is among the more attractive ones, which is not an easy feat among this bird family. People who love moths may want to refrain from watching it though.

By the cliffs we find several Eurasian Crag-Martins and a consolation species – a family of Golden Eagles in the air! Eurasian Spoonbills are foraging, some of them literally running through the water chasing some fast food. Going even lower, we add a Cirl Bunting and a Syrian Woodpecker. Enough of the mountains.

He clearly thinks that it is wrong to cause animals to suffer unnecessarily, but he appears to be somewhat ambivalent about killing animals (provided the killing is carried out humanely). Over 95% of all animals raised for food in the U.S. are raised in cruel, inhumane factory farms. What does he think about killing animals?
