Around 12 million animals are used each year in the European Union (EU) for research purposes. This became clear from a report addressed at the European Parliament (EP) session on May 5–7, which seeks to vote on a directive concerning animal research. I really hope this passes.

How should Animal Control evaluate their claim? It was an "experiment" you see, even though they are just Animal Control, not a research facility. The temperature did not exceed 86 degrees, the dog was closely monitored and suffered no ill affects, they said. Weather conditions were also similar.
