The process of taking in a stray isn’t usually instantaneous and straightforward. They pointed out the puncture wounds, likely infected with bacteria that could quickly kill.

Fostering is a wonderful experience. A pet needs time to decompress, to learn trust, to “get over” the shelter experience.
