My plan was to do research for this post, so I decided to enter as a common mortal and not use the electronic pass. Interestingly, a bird of prey set off a psychological experiment. We exchanged notes on where to find good birds in southern Portugal. I decided to go back to the Lezírias and specifically, visit EVOA. Could it be?

Then it’s a matter of doing a little research on the internet to find who rang the bird you saw, and then emailing the details of your sighting. They are of the race islandica , a sub species of the nominate race, limosa. Once again I did my internet research and managed to contact the person who had ringed the gull.

Universities like Harvard, Columbia and Cornell regularly use the research facility. On the grounds, Punta Cana has preserved a 1,500 acre Ecological Park that is an excellent place to view the local endemic bird species and enjoy nature. Additionally the foundation provides a facility for important biological field work.
