It proved strong enough to take the many knocks and falls that a hard-used scope experiences during its lifetime. I’ve never quite understood why so many people wrap their scopes up in little jackets, (but nor do I understand why it’s so popular to dress dogs up in coats, too, as they are already wrapped in fur.

After securing our passage, I patiently waited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience to a place we have never been and lacked any knowledge of, we were in for a complete surprise. His fur is growing mangy and patchy. Grooming his fur. Like he was the human and she was the hamster. Hamlet’s organs were shutting down – it was the humane thing to do. It extended about ¾” below the cap and just wide enough to hold a drop of water on its tip. In fact, he is dying. He is eating less each day.
