The Refuge is now home to nearly 200 species of birds, over 50 species of mammals, 25 species of reptiles and amphibians, and a wide variety of insects, fish and plants. Note in this 2010 video, birders, birdwatching and kayakers are mentioned, not hunters. This is an Urban Refuge ! Why would you open it up to hunting?
