My rescue dog had to be euthanized due to aggressive brain tumor only after a month of having him and I feel shattered. Ways to cope? Would it be wrong to buy a new puppy?

Shelter said that it was resource aggression, but that was false. I dont know if I have weird way to cope, but I already looked at puppies that are available. Would it be wrong to take a puppy on this moment? I am scared I will fall into depression otherwise, my dog was a huge emotional support to me since I have PTSD.
