Ocala, Florida This is Sassy she had been brought into a local vet's office in Georgia, the owner wanted to euthanize her due to just not wanting Sassy anymore, due to owner being pregnant, that's it nothing else! Well the vet refused to euthanize a healthy dog. Sassy was posted on reddit & found a home.

Adding a bird to the life-list and I had only been in Florida for thirty minutes!

When I agreed to read and review Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson's THE DOG WHO COULDN'T STOP LOVING (Harper 2010), the regal Charles Hobson Booger, III was still with us. He was adopted by the Masson family and was apparently the most loving dog all who met him had ever had the pleasure of being licked by. And the crying would never stop.

It has been a humbling 17 days as I walk the dogs early, shower, and get gussied up to sit in traffic for 1.5 hours on I-95 (we here in South Florida are known for our very limited public transportation options--boy do I miss NYC). Trying to program kids to accept the killing of someone they love is cruel.
