The rooms are floating in a pond and the pond provides a home for a Eurasian Beaver family. Nowadays, the numbers are being controlled through culling. Definitely, lack of songbirds. Yes, that’s where I was going – the Oostvaardersplassen – and the hotel has a little bridge straight into the National Park.
