Coyote bombs with sizzling wicks, so even at my sleepiest one glance at her chart would snap me into “en garde.”

My hosts could confidently tick off the species on their life list. Coming down from the emotional high we noticed our grumbling stomachs: time to eat. We got at least three sub-species but the highlight was a Wilson’s Snipe we flushed. We also saw Prairie Dogs , Bison , Mule Deer , Abert’s Squirrel and Coyote.

And if a feral cat colony is near an endangered species, the colony should be eliminated. I have a dog, cats (domestic and feral), birds raccoons, hawks, owls, coyotes, foxes, bunnies and mice…they all share the yard and the woods. And if we are going to count cats as part of nature, they’re like a foxes or coyotes.
