I'm not one of those people who thinks family is composed of only humans or humans who are biologically related. The idea of family is currently being used by the dairy industry in a series of commercials with the tag line: "99% of dairy farms are family owned." Ninety-nine percent of dairy farms are family owned.

The kids made tortillas from scratch and then went to a factory to see how professionals do it. Any other factories on the agenda? The site says food production factories are included , but I doubt that means those involving the slaughter of animals.). I don't think of that as a restriction. One is male.

I don't think anyone is campaigning for "farm" animals to become pets, as many of us don't even think the family cat should be the family cat.
