The local Bald Eagles are getting busy, I suspect there is an egg in the nest. These birds include a cave-dwelling bird that is so oily it can be used as a lamp and a bird that has claws on its wings and a stomach like a cow. All I see are their buts. But that’s not the most interesting thing I’ve seen recently.

While waiting I got offered four dozen eggs (mostly broken), a cow (I’m sure of that), two marriage proposals (less sure) and I learned why every Ugandan can afford a Rolex (it’s a chapati roll with eggs). Resident Red-tailed Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, and Bushbabies are fun to watch but they do throw “stuff” at your cabin.
