Non-human beings have traditionally thought of on a basically immoral level…they lack any intrinsic values, are incapable of thoughts and emotions, and are only worth how good of a coat they make or how good they taste. I look forward to more research being done in this field. But I digress.

I've decided to quit my book club, which I dearly love, because of a member who works in medical research and supports animal experimentation. Then I read more about what's happening at the New Iberia Research Center in Louisiana. Tags: animal research. And like I said, I love the other people in it. She supports this.
