Big Tom was the guest most anxious to leave my humble abode and was returned this morning, to a ghost town of a colony, with few cats in sight. Little Black is in a large dog kennel, curled up in her litter box, going nowhere near her tasty, stinky canned food, and she will be returned tomorrow. Duffy cannot be in a home with a cat.

Animals in the tri-state area are euthanized daily, rescue groups are unable to save as many lives as they wish, and animals spend years in boarding kennels while awaiting adopters to fall in love with them. If a cat is playing, it’s not meowing! Many of these boarding animals are forgotten. Fostering is a wonderful experience.
