And I wanted to be able to fly directly from Portland, so I would not lose a day to travel. I settled on Wisconsin, which is home to one of the Top 25 NWRs for Birding that I have not visited: Horicon NWR. However, I had never actually visited a WPA, and Wisconsin has several relatively close to Horicon NWR. But now it has.
