The clifftop habitats along rocky shores of the North Atlantic (on both sides of the pond) abound in bird biomass during breeding bouts, for instance. To remedy this, I visited the Animal Diversity Web site at the University of Michigan. There are probably other major trends that depend, for example, on latitude and timing.
