I found this out last year, on a trip to France with my daughter Sarah. I did notice that many French dragonflies depicted on the Internet (at least those from northern and central France) are also found in Great Britain. This population’s breeding range is covers much of the Eastern Arctic, from northern Labrador up to Ellesmere, in as far west as the Kivaliq region (Rankin Inlet, Arviat). In my experience here, the Wheatear arrive at the end of May to early June and quickly establish territories. From the Tundra to the African Steppes.
