Scientist Advocacy Group Oppose Some Animal Testing

I found a link to them on ANIMAL's blog (ANIMAL is a Portuguese animal rights group.) These scientists are NOT an animal rights group. They do support some animal-based studies (which sucks); HOWEVER, they acknowledge that much animal research is useless. Tags: animal research.

Animal Researchers Promote Sob Stories

I don't support animal research and I have no sympathy for animal researchers. I don't believe they are working for human welfare. I don't believe they want an honest dialogue about what they are doing to animals. I don't believe they are "brave" for "standing up" to animal rights activists.

Animal Welfare Act Inadequate for Farm Animals

No wonder there is so much "farm" animal abuse out there. The only cool thing is that Gene Bauer's views on the meat industry are so similar to those expressed on this blog a few weeks ago. Humane treatment runs counter to the entire industry when the point is to make money by processing these animals as fast as possible.
