Week 30: We return to Summer Lake

In what I am quite sure should be on a promotional flyer for the refuge, I was able to capture this beautiful male California Quail on one of the boundary signs. In addition to the birds, we saw Mule Deer, Beaver, Muskrat , and Mink. This Savannah Sparrow was one of many that flitted around the gravel on the trails and roadways.
