We were surprised to observe Zebra Finch , because there did not appear to be any water, but they could have been accessing water on the station and coming to the crater for food. This was prolific with flowering trees, which were mostly Grevillea refracta and a favourite food for the honeyeater family of birds. Heading around the rim.
