There is a lot of bird movement around Australia at the moment due to the weather, so time to go and investigate! It actually looked like the station owner was breeding birds rather than cattle! As we came through the open fields towards the coast there were numerous Cattle Egrets among the cattle and Straw-necked Ibis. The carpark area was surrounded by a grassy area with picnic facilities and was extremely popular with several groups of Superb Fairy-wrens. Superb Fairy-wren -male. Australian Magpie. Australian Raven.
