I can certainly speak about the Midwest where states like Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, etc. Ferruginous Hawks are native to our western short-grass prairies and their diet comprises almost completely of prairie dogs. Perhaps, this is because we, as Americans, have destroyed nearly every morsel of prairie we have left.

4 The Love Of Animals

On May 5, 2010, I adopted a two-year-old poodle/terrier mix from our local shelter, Animal Allies. Within weeks, with lots of love, patience, and socializing with other tenants and pets, she was a totally different dog. Ever since I got her, she’s been an absolutely wonderful dog. I named her Angel. At 1:30 a.m.
