Being sacred may not have been that great for the Ibis in Egypt though – apparently, mummies of the Ibis are by far the most common bird mummies found there. was responsible for maintaining the universe, judging the dead, and for writing and science ( source ). Possibly also for doing the dishes. Talk about schizophrenia.
