Tommy Thompson Park Bird Research Station in Toronto had an extremely rare and beautiful Townsend’s Warbler x Black-throated Gray Warbler which was banded in April. I have chronicled the experience on my blog. 2012 was one of my best years for birding in Costa Rica. Bruce Wilson was excited by a hybrid wood-warbler.
