The purpose is therefore to provide a Forever Home for those companion and farm animals that have virtually no chance of being adopted due to their age or condition.

Archaeology has demonstrated that humans were crafting collars for their animals at least 7000 years ago and the possibility that this is a conservative estimate is large. In situations where dogs were primarily guarding domestic animals, collars tended to have studs or spikes to frustrate the jaws of a marauding wolf.

Down near the original cook shack was a bush that held one Townsend’s Warbler. Whenever one thinks about Yellowstone, the first though for the majority of folks is probably the animals. Here are the rest of the animals that we did see. The hardest image to get is always the Bighorn Sheep, so I am pretty happy with this shot!
