Dear Senator Murray, I have read articles in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times about the chimpanzees at Holloman Air Force Base. These highly intelligent animals should be PERMANENTLY retired and a PERMANENT sanctuary created for them. They deserve better and we are capable of providing them with better.

Further, the crane take in Mexico is a free-for-all: neither regulated nor recorded. we allow limited (by season and bag limits) hunting on populations of game animals that can sustain it. But I will say that for the longest time hunters did pay for everything.
