I hate when animals are killed needlessly simply to be stuffed or their heads hung on the wall. It seems both political parties do nothing for animals. Popular hunting magazines make animal rights groups like they're the bad guys. "We need to watch out for the ASPCA, the humane society, PETA, etc."

I don't support animal research and I have no sympathy for animal researchers. I don't believe they are working for human welfare. I don't believe they want an honest dialogue about what they are doing to animals. I do believe they want prestige, tenure, royalties and patent rights. The other women wouldn't.

Other scenes show a newborn chimpanzee being taken from its mother and an adult screaming as a lab worker aims a tranquilizer gun before the animal falls sedated from a shelf to the floor. Animal-rights activists are urging Air Canada to stop shipping live monkeys and other animals destined for experimentation, saying the airline can change its tariff rules if it wants. According to a legal opinion solicited by the Humane Society International Canada, Air Canada can set and amend the terms of its tariffs.

One of the largest animal rescue operations in Canadian history just got a lot bigger: about 90 puppies have been born since hundreds of dogs were seized northwest of Ottawa. "We We have a lot of puppies here and a lot more puppies coming," said Rebecca Aldworth, the executive director of Humane Society International Canada.
