Responding to an anonymous tip about a neglected cat, the Humane Law Enforcement agents arrived at Stewart’s residence to find a seven-week-old, one-pound orange tabby with his whiskers cut off and a serious injury to his right front paw. It was determined that Stewart had failed to get medical attention for her cat. Do you Twitter?

His owner, crazy Sandra Herrold , should be prosecuted and made to pay medical costs for the victim. And Connecticut needs to pass some serious laws to stop this kind of ridiculous behavior. Tags: chimpanzees animal cruelty Stupid us. His death was a tragedy and should not be mocked. Nor should the woman who was attacked.

Response is what our humane law enforcement officers do; the prevention aspect is then taken care of by the other resources of the A.S.P.C.A., be they medical, behavioral, placement or training and education so that, in the long run, the cycle of cruelty to animals is broken.
