But that is what happened on Tuesday evening and I had to suffer the email reports, pictures, and facebook status updates of New York State birders who were fortunate enough to see a Northern Wheatear , a bird I had never seen in North America, at the Croton Train Station in Westchester County. And I even got to work on time!
