The wolves suffer needlessly because hunters simply wound them more often then not firing from an airplane. Tags: Palin alaska wolves. I understand there may be some instances where predator control is necessary. I'm not an absolutist on this point. Doing it from low flying aircraft, however, is just barbaric.

Birders know why Alaska is known as The Last Frontier. But until this past month, I’d never been to Alaska. I’m not sure what I expected when I finally got a look at Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska. Because that’s what animals do in Alaska. Where the nearby military base has a pack of wolves on it.

Why has John McCain chosen Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska, as a running mate? For me, I've been deluged for months by Defenders of Wildlife material about Alaska's heartless treatment of wolves. I hope that the scrutiny of Palin will do something about Alaska's unfair and cruel treatment of wolves. It is cold.

When it comes to wildlife and the environment (to which I'll limit myself in this post) I think she will also have a strong motivation to continue and EXPAND her Alaska policies. Keep women in their place and remember to hunt and kill the wolves and any other animal that gets in their way.
