NEW JERSEY – Animal shelters are full, they have no space, they often have no money, and they have a small amount of dedicated volunteers. There is an estimated 3-4million pets euthanized each year in US animal shelters. There is a strong lack of homes willing to open their doors to fostering a shelter pet.

O’Sullivan informs us that a fertile egg is finally produced (not clear if it’s from The Stud or the other male, the Bronx Zoo only has two males) and abandoned and successfully nurtured by a pair of Ring-necked Doves. Women gathered their long skirts and hurried for the shelter of stores. Is this the type of avian experience we want?
