At the end of May in 2015 I wrote about the area too and there were huge numbers of birds there then. It is quite possible that you will observe all three species of Ibis- Straw-necked Ibis , White Ibis and Glossy Ibis. If they are hunting you will undoubtedly find out if there are Nankeen Night-herons in the area when they take off.
