The naturalist got out of his car, picked her up, took the tape off her legs, and took her to a local zoo. Finally, the decision was made to release her in the summer of 2011. The grand old bird became a surrogate mother, and raised them herself. One of the animal keepers brought her to me, and I put her in my clinic.

Telia watches him in half-amusement, then raises and gives a low, bull-like roar, provoking the lapwings to an excited screech, makes a few steps and lies down. Telia yawns, raises and sprays her urine on a dead tree stump, marking her territory. The other two are motionless.
