As the only organization in New York City whose doors are open to any animal in need, AC&C rescues thousands of New York’s homeless, neglected, abused and abandoned animals each year.

Iams and longtime partner Helen Woodward Animal Center, along with more than 3,500 animal organizations from around the world once again joined forces to help reduce pet homelessness. The 2011 program will begin in October. Here are how the numbers break down: 593,146 dogs. 509,470 cats.
