We love seeing the good that can come when passionate people come together to help animals. Second Acts is a very unique animal organization, they fund raise on behalf of animal rescue groups! Second Acts distributes 100% of all donations received to small, volunteer-run groups nationwide that adopt a no-kill policy.

Animals in particular are receptive to Reiki, because they have a higher energy frequency running through their bodies than humans do. Other times the animal will become invigorated and energized.

Kitten Rescue is a wonderful animal rescue organization! Founded in 1997, it has become one of the largest animal rescue groups in Los Angeles. Kitten Rescue’s goal is to help Los Angeles become a no-kill city. Jenna Fischer hosts the event, which is being held this year on September 11th, 2010.

It’s such an inspiring show, with people who are doing amazing work on behalf of homeless animals. DogTown is the name of an area of Best Friends Animal Society in Angel Canyon, Utah. Shy dogs are often among the first to be euthanized in shelters because they are difficult to adopt, but not at DogTown, a no-kill facility.
