Ethical vegetarianism is the thesis that killing and eating animals is morally wrong whenever equally nutritious plant-based alternatives are available. The case for ethical vegetarianism starts with several uncontroversial premises. Premise (7) is clearly true, but don’t take my word for it. The answer, according to the ADA, is “No.”

The tiresome Hitler was a well-known vegetarian comment is included in this segment, but I found it irksome long before that. It does not make them more or less a "tool."

I had a strong interest in science because of its reliance on reason and skepticism, which struck me as very good tools for truth seeking (which is ultimately what I am interested in). Also, I am not a vegetarian, though I attempted to be one last year (an experience I plan on posting about).
