After Lorraine learned what a job it is to keep just a fourth generation Bengal, she got involved with Bengal Rescue and now helps foster and find homes for unwanted Bengals. Since these cats have so much wild predator in them, they need activity. Lorraine even bought them a running wheel.

Animals in the tri-state area are euthanized daily, rescue groups are unable to save as many lives as they wish, and animals spend years in boarding kennels while awaiting adopters to fall in love with them. As a foster parent, you can set certain guidelines with the rescue group as to what type of animal you prefer. Consider adopting.

Rescues pets are wonderful- just ask anyone who has one. Puppies and kittens often up in shelters as well, but it is important to note that your animals, especially puppies, require a lot of work and training and can be quite destructive (peeing on the carpet or chewing shoes). These animals are healthy and very eager to please.
