Sea Shepherd Goes on Mission to Protect Bluefin Tuna

Looks like they'll need to since nobody else wants to protect them. In Qatar yesterday nations voted down a proposed ban on exporting Atlantic bluefin tuna. Greenpeace says the New Zealand Government voted against the ban – spelling disaster for the future of the species. But Mr Watson is unfazed by the outcome in Qatar.

This remarkable area is best know for its huge wall that was used for centuries to protect the city from invasion, but for me, the Conwy RSPB refuge was fantastic. This trip, all the way around the world, has been a whirl-wind of amazing stops, fantastic people, and bird species that I never imagined to see in my life time!

Week 20: Doha, and on to Scotland!

Well, for us, we went to Doha, Qatar. In the end, I ended up with 9 species, 4 of which were new to the list, the Black-crowned Sparrow Lark, White-checked Bulbo, House Crow , and the Indian Silverbill. With my Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) field guide in hand, off we set to put a few Scottish birds on the list.
