A federal appeals court made a final decision Wednesday on whether Fish and Wildlife could allow oil companies to interfere with polar bears. Fish and Wildlife service wrongfully issued authorization for oil companies to work in areas that could potentially hurt the bears.

Inevitably, it’s a situation where you were there, and for me, it’s the swimming male polar bear. When you see a dying male polar bear and you’ve been with that animal for a long time, it is hard. That made the wildlife viewing all the more special really, so that’s probably my favorite place.
