Adoption fees are being waived for this event, and adoptable animals will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and provided an ID tag free of charge. HOW: Potential adopters should bring with them one government-issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport, military ID, or non-driver ID) and proof of address.

People can search Adopt-a-Pet.com to find a local shelter, and make a cash donation to that shelter to help them with the costs of housing, feeding and medical care of shelter animals. People can encourage other pet owners to spay or neuter their pet (link to our spay neuter page) to help prevent unwanted births.

The Found Animals Foundation ( www.foundanimals.org ) is a privately funded Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare issues and led by business and medical professionals.
