That is to say, they look like the vultures I used to see on nature programs, those iconic shots of birds squabbling over a deceased wildebeast or zebra. A Turkey Vulture might be an avatar of death come to call, while a Griffon Vulture is heartily alive and looking to mug you for your meat.

Since animals cannot be judged morally praiseworthy or blameworthy, the question of whether it is morally wrong for them to eat meat cannot be raised. Resource partitioning is basically the term for liking different things, which makes it easier to live together (think you eating most of the meat and your wife eating most of the vegetables of a shared dinner). Apparently, some Zebra Doves can be quite valuable, though presumably not the ones I saw.
