If your cat or dog is having a litter, is it ok to keep most or a considerable part of the puppies if you have the conditions, or is there risk of inbreeding in the future?

I tried to search the internet for that and for people who raise pets in farms, ranchs, etc, could never find a good answer about how it goes if you keep your pet's entire group of children together with the parent(s) and don't give them away.

It was, based on a quick glance, a puppy, around 6 to 7 months old. Falakhe is still alive, as is the dominant male in his litter. We hadn’t been on the road long before a shout went out that a dog had been seen, and we quickly turned back, and there was my first Painted Wolf in Mkuze. It was not a pretty sight. Falakhe injured.

Tika and her longtime mate, Kobuk, had raised eight litters of puppies together and were enjoying their retirement years in the home of my friend, Anne. And outside of Buenos Aires, Argentina, a dog rescued an abandoned baby by placing him safely among her own newborn puppies. As we all know, dogs are “man’s best friend.”

Rascal mouthed the puppies from the last litter here. I called the State Trooper. Those two are going at it. Rascal has her mouth on my Chi’s neck…” I knew I was going to loose the seven pounder. “Aw, Aw, they’re just playing. She’s gentle. Get out, relax and let them play.”. Dinner and a glass of wine.
