Birders and hunters usually share the same conservation goals and sometimes work together to advance them. Most hunters follow them, but there are always a few bad apples. Note, I said responsible hunting practices.

The Final Days of the Danube backwaters in Belgrade: Chinese Belt and Road Initiative is coming to Serbia

This was only my second time ever to observe this subspecies (the first time was here as well), two other subspecies I have observed in India. They may have been disturbed by the presence of hunters in the Danube backwaters. The only wildcat I found was illegally killed by hunters during closed season.

At 36,433 sq. Natal Francolin was discovered in what was then known as Natal Colony by Dr Andrew Smith.
