Humane treatment runs counter to the entire industry when the point is to make money by processing these animals as fast as possible. Unfortunately, this goal tends to run counter to humane goals.”

My objection is: Why do such research when you don't need to? Here's what I see: Once again, as with attempts to convince the public that animal farming could ever be humane , humans are desperate to provide alternatives to consuming animals that don't include not consuming animals. That action is to opt out and go vegan.
