The parking lot was crowded, for sure, with holiday makers looking for some crocodile-free freshwater to swim in, but aboe the crowds a small group Barred Cuckoo-shrike were feeding on fruit in a leafless tree. Saw-shelled Turtle ( Myuchelys latisternum ) My pessimism about the place was short-lived, however.
