The Wildlife Rehabilitator’s Wish List

The general public is out and about, birds and animals are raising their young, and human/wildlife interaction is at its peak. Change in Law. I wish for a federal law prohibiting domestic and feral cats from roaming free outdoors. Why is there no state or federal money available to care for federally protected species?

Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has published a list of NWRs that have been created or expanded with Duck Stamp funds. Harris Neck NWR (Georgia): 0.0%. How important are 10,000 or 100,000 or even 1,000,000 acres and where are those acres anyhow?
