More importantly, it is a fantastic area to watch birds in its own right. Almost immediately I saw, very briefly, my only Double-eyed Fig-parrot of the trip, and heard a Leaden Flycatcher and some Blue-winged Kookaburras. The highlight of the night was a Striped Possum, a large squirrel sized possum with black and white striped fur.
