Shower thought: Is a black panther more likely to die of starvation compared to a normal panther?

If cats' furs are evolved to be adapted to their environment, is a black panther a worse hunter, due to not having the natural camouflage that a regular jaguar/leopard would have? Or would a black panther be a more effective hunter, because prey animals wouldn't be used to looking out for black coloured predators?
